Our Little October Camping Trip
Hello October Camping in October is nearly unheard of in North Dakota. We haven't had a nice Halloween month in years, yet this month, the temps were in the 70s. It may have been a tad windy and a little chilly at night, but there's nothing like flannel pajamas and a big bonfire to keep you warm. The leaves are changing quickly as the air continues to crisp. The yellows, reds, and browns are so incredibly beautiful in these latest of fall days we've had in quite some time . A little wood to chop for the fire and a hot cup of coffee warms the soul on a chilly camping evening. The late morning sun shining through the orange leaves is a gorgeous contrast against the bright blue sky. Flannel pajamas are a must when the temperature drops, as well as a fire to keep the toes nice and toasty warm. Can't forget the opening of pheasant season so we can hunt for our campfire dinner.
