The Triplets of McLeod, Photoshop fun

The other morning, my one friend wasn't home for our "mom mornings".

So, I had to find something to do until my daughter got out of pre-school. She goes for 2.5 hours, two days a week. Usually, I spend those hours sipping coffee with a friend of mine.
The morning she wasn't home, I returned to mine. Shortly after I got there I realized how silent and sort of lonely it was.

Living on a farm in the middle of nowhere is very quiet when you're alone.
So I took matters into my own weird hands and created the Triplets of Seelyeville to keep me company.

These ladies are the bane of my existence. Little did I know that they would take over my life and they always seem to be fighting.

This particular morning, for example, they got into a drawn-out argument on the front porch about how they couldn't all three wear the same damn outfit.

Mary (me - the brunette), Meg (the redhead), and Mina (the one with the very bad blonde dye job) began to throw coffee cups at each other since they couldn't settle their argument with words.

I tried very hard to calm the other two down, but Meg's anxiety kicked in and Mina's attitude ruined any chance of reconciliation.

I guess playing the mom role with my fabricated sisters wasn't the way to go.

They're coming for a visit today and I'm hoping that we're not all wearing the same garb and we can all try to get along...seeing as it's National Coffee Day, it should be a day of caffeinated celebration.

I'm planning on doing Mina's hair since that corn cob yellow has to go, but she's a tad sensitive about her appearance. Maybe I'll just roofie her coffee and dye it while she's unconscious to avoid any physical alterations.

That should go over well.

Wish me luck and happy National Coffee Day to you!!
