Art is something I have always loved. Trying to make a living in any art-related field is nearly impossible, however, it sure does make me happy! I grew up doodling on anything and everything I could get my hands on. It was often a problem in school because I'd spend more time drawing on the test than actually answering the questions.


I've always loved drawing shops and villages, gardens, and buildings.


The stranger the better. 
I was pretty thrilled in junior high when they let me design a ceiling tile for the art room. My image of choice? A demon high school girl. It seemed fitting at the time.


Some are colorful if I have enough patience to finish the sketch.


I also love to write strange fairy tales that have a lot to do with these sketches! I've had four fantasy novels published so far and if you'd like a chance to win one of those novels, go here and follow the instructions!

From the carcass to the slab. * Note - Not to tan, merely preserve. More of a pre-tanning process until you are ready for the next step. Preservation is the first step in getting the furs set, so they do not rot or develop bugs, or even tears. Preserve to avoid the "Hide Beetles": They are scavengers, they are the last to visit and feed on the dried-out remains of dead animals; both adults and larvae will eat feathers, fur, and skin. Viking Pie with Ground Pork Chorizo ~ SPICY

If you choose to use frozen hashbrowns, you won't get the full flavor intertwined with the shredded potatoes. SO...what is a Viking Pie ? I coined this term when I started making these dishes. When I tried to come up with a name for it I ended up saying, "I don't know what to call it...it just looks like something the Vikings would eat." And there we go. The Viking Pie was born.
