My mother, over at thewretchedpath.blogspot.com wrote a blog post the other day called Masks for the Multitudes.

It's an amazing tutorial on how to make your own custom-fitted face masks. I prefer this style far more than the folded (yet much easier to make) mask because it forms to your face.

I had a lot of fun customizing my own...you know for the coronapocolypse! Have to get my Mad-Max style going!

This tutorial might seem a little advanced for the beginner sewer, but I promise you, it's easier than it looks. I chose to leave out the wire in the nose piece, only because mine fit so nicely around my nose the way it was I didn't see any reason to add it. And those wire nose pieces can be irritating after a while.

So if you don't have any wire on hand, don't feel bad leaving it out.
(However, it does serve a very good purpose which she states in her tutorial)
