It is beyond beautiful and I can imagine it in shades of black and green, blue and black, blue and green, etc. (I love the earth tones)
I found a thicker piece of pine at Menards the other day that would work perfectly for this piece.
Seeing as I would never be able to find live edge pieces around here that would work for this, I could fabricate those edges with a grinder or sander and cut the large slab with a jigsaw in the wavy middle pattern.
I would stain them all separately (of course - I'm a messy worker) and then fasten them back together.

I would hope the two-toned and three-toned tables would stand a better chance in the elements because they would also make amazing patio tables.
Since I first published this post, I have found two live edge suppliers close enough to me to create the above table with "live" edges instead of an edge-glued piece from the lumber yard.
My mini camper is a 100% (aside from the trailer frame) homemade Vardo that is serving as a trial and error project for future projects.
So, it is a great place to try out new staining techniques, small multi-functional furniture builds, electrical, and off-grid plumbing projects.
