Kitchen Construction Zone

Don't mess with a chick holding power tools...especially after she nearly cut off her pinky toe. Apparently that chick is not very "power tool safety reliable". My toe hurts.

It's cold outside so I found a lovely spot on my previous kitchen's floor to tear down pallets for the flooring throughout the house. It's not the most ideal spot and holy hell does it make a mess, but it's warm in here SO I don't really care how messy it gets. :)

I'm on pallet number 10 out of 100! Yay! Only 90 more to go! Shit. I have 90 more to go??

This wee little stack of planks here is a huge accomplishment to me. I've been feeling pretty crappy lately so this wee little stack feels pretty good!

After I get the remaining 90 pallets deconstructed...sanded...cut to the proper length...fill the holes in...etc, I get to start laying them out on the floor. Some will be stained to different shades and some will stay their all natural "pallet-y" shade of light brown.

After I nail them all down in their proper spots, I get to live in the camper while I seal it all up. Hopefully it will be warm out at that point...

I have posted this picture before, but here it is again. This is our ending goal, or at least something very close to it:
