OOAK Handmade, Hand Painted, Wooden Journal, Hand Dyed Pages

This journal took a bit longer than I would have liked, but it turned out quite beautifully!
I wanted to do one kind of fairy tale girly one, but not TOO girly
...so this is what I came up with!



Lovely little girl on the cover is hand-painted in shades of grey,
blue and maroon.

Front cover quote:
"lay down your umbrella

The cover is made out of wood with some grey-blue gems.

Blue ribbon laced up binding over painted burlap,
with front blue ribbon closure ties.

It took me about 5.5 hours all together to hand dye these pages. Each page was folded in half to create the size and then divided up into 4 sheets per stack and bound. Each stack was hand-bound together by sewing. It was a long, long process but I love the outcome! The colors are beautiful!
